Club Meetings Each month we have a business meeting with committee reports, plant sales, raffle & attendance door prize drawing. Lunch is then enjoyed by all with time to visit. Each afternoon we provide a program.
September 18, 2017 Program: New Handbook for Flower Shows, Judy Strickland and Linda Maida will be presenting information on display and grooming of plants & design material.
October 16, 2017 Program: Orchids, Ron Harding, will be speaking on all things Orchid, including their temper-mental care requirements.
November 20, 2017 Program: Recycling, Passive Garden Therapy Design, Designer Debbie Spiller will show us how to use cans to create the mechanics for a floral arrangement for the home.
December 18, 2017 Program: Collect donations, for Washington State Soldiers Home, Christmas potluck & flower bingo.
January 15, 2018 Program: Designing Miniatures, Sharon Burlingame will be sharing her knowledge in the creation of miniature designs.
February 19, 2018 Program: Educational / Horticulture Tour, We will tour the DeGoede Farm's Hydroponic Greenhouses. They use only organic fertilizers and no harmful pesticides.
March 19, 2018 Program: Educational on National Wildlife Federation,Our speaker will explain how we as gardeners can help the wildlife either stay in our yard or how we can deter them.
April 16, 2018 Program: Wire Landscape Design, Lisa Libby will present how to transform chicken wire into useful pieces of yard/ patio art, a puff of spray paint or a flowering vine.
May 21, 2018 Program: Educational on Beekeeping, Andy Matelich will advise us on providing habitat for our garden honey bees. He will bring an observation hive which allows us to see the inner workings of an active hive.
June 18, 2018 Program: Educational, Horticulture, Garden Tour, Enid Roberts will open up her home and gardens. The property covers 30 acres where she has created six individual gardens.
